Most people come to my office because of pain. Chiropractic has a very successful history in relieving “musculoskeletal” pain, or joint pain, particularly of the back or neck. This is done by finding and correcting the cause of this condition. Musculoskeletal is most often associated with certain difficult and painful movements, and is accompanied by joint stiffness. This stiffness may occur in any joint, including those of the spine and extremities (arms or legs).
The primary goal of Chiropractic treatment is to locate areas of joint stiffness and pain, and “adjust” these joints to improve and restore normal flexibility. Normal flexibility will decrease joint strain, improve the flow of blood and joint oil (synovial fluid) to the joint area, and thereby restore joint health and decrease symptoms.
